An Investment!

Today, I have invested in some gaiters, only a tenner from Argos. Guaranteed for 3 years and are made in Scotland, so they should last ... hopefully.

After this weeks muddy baths whilst caching, it was about time I had invested in these.

Another Night Of Caching.

Notification came through of 23 new caches in Dodford, near Bromsgrove last night, so I decided to have a go at six or seven of them.

I arrived at the area and eventually tracked my way to the first cache of the series. This took about 10 minutes to find, then it was off to the second and so on. The rain was slowly coming down and the ground was very slippy, mainly because I didn't have my walking boots on!

The night was long and I only managed to bag 4 FTF's, but I met two badgers foraging and a fox who kept watching me look for the Fairy Door, which was my favourite of the night, an excellent little hide. I shall have to return to finish this series off.

Mud Bath Caching!

The result of last nights caching in Clent, or rather, a mud bath!

I was attempting some of the Ascent To Clent caches, there had been some rain and the fields were soooo muddy! Noticed that Maxtrev and Fungimanforager were out and about trying to get the FTF's, but I managed to bag 2 of them.

Met a few animals on the way round, a horse, a badger and a Great Tit, which was squeezed up inside the trunk of a hedge.

After a long night I managed to bag 2 FTF's, 2 STF's and 5 TTF's. Not bad for a nights work.
